Kalman “Ocsi” Magyar is widely regarded as North America’s premier Hungarian folk violinist. Classically trained at Manhattan School of Music’s Preparatory Division, Kalman is a former soloist with the Duquesne University Tamburitzans and has performed and recorded with most of the top folk musicians in Hungary and Transylvania.
