Jeszika Garda-Paulusz grew up embedded in the Hungarian community of Montreal, where she was an active member of the Bokreta Hungarian Dance Ensemble and the Hungarian Scouts. She spent two years studying folk singing in Hungary’s prestigious Obudai Nepzene School, and has since studied with several notable Hungarian vocalists. Jeszika is also an adept dancer, and often performs as both a singer and dancer at Gyanta events.
